Der AUDI FASHION AWARD geht in die zweite Runde. Er prämiert junge Modedesign-Studentenaus Norddeutschland mit Kreativität, Innovationsfähigkeit und Trendgespür. Vergeben wird der Award in vier Kategorien: Modern Icons, Active Technology, Beyond Today und Sophisticated Elegance. In diesem Jahr gibt es erneut namhafte Schirmherren für die einzelnen Bereiche. Dazu gehören die Marken Closed, Escada sowie Vaude und das junge Label Barre Noire. Die Jurymitglieder stehen den Studenten auch unterstützend zur Seite. „Frische Ideen von jungen Menschen sind wichtig“, sagt Dietmar K. Elsasser, Gesamtvertriebsleiter Audi Region Nord. „Wir wollen Nachwuchsdesignern eine Chance geben, ihre Ideen in der Praxis umzusetzen. Gesellschaftliches Engagement, Nachwuchsförderung und damit eine kontinuierliche Investition in Menschen und Ideen spielen bei Audi in allen Bereichen eine große Rolle.“ Interessenten bewerben sich für den Audi Fashion Award 2013 mit ausgearbeiteten Konzeptideen inklusive Skizzen und Moodboards für eine der vier Kategorien. Nach der Einreichungsphase trifft die Jury eine erste Auswahl und selektiert die besten Einsendungen pro Kategorie. Die so nominierten Finalisten setzen ihre Entwürfe bis Herbst für die Modenschau in Hamburg um. Dort können sie beweisen, dass ihre Entwürfe auch auf dem Laufsteg durch Schnitt, Verarbeitung, Qualität, Eleganz und Alltagstauglichkeit überzeugen. Anmeldeschluss für alle eingeschriebenen Modestudenten aus Hamburg, Niedersachsen und Schleswig-Holstein ist der 31. Mai. After creating initially a series of rings for the "L’Histoire de Mimi Cri" collection, Isabella Pikart, designer of vaporetta berlin, enlarged the collection with further models - earrings and a modular pendant system. [nggallery id=282] Like a golden thread runs through all new jewellery pieces as well need for experimentation with form, surface feel, glaze, chromaticity and contrasts to reach new combinations and interpretations of materials gold and porcelain. The squares, which already are the basic geometric form of the rings, in the first part of the collection, now find themselves in new arrangements such as floral forms "Fleur", or the square or cube in a variable play of lines, surfaces or cubes alone or relative on to the other. The name "L’Histoire de Mimi Cri" refers to the term "mimicry" which is used in biology if on species uses the similarity to another order to mimic it and to protect them itself. At the same time it's also a game of words with the French expression "Le dernier Cri" for "a must have" in fashion.
