Working under water is always fascinating and challenging at the same time. This is especially true when you make a fashion film underwater. Swiss based ECLUMES STUDIOS [-> Portrait of ECLUMES STODIOS] rose to the challenge and came up with a wonderful film – “AMPHITRITE – UNDERWATER GODDESS“.

The film has been already nominated at several film festivals as La Jolla Fashion Film Festival or San Francisco International Fashion Film Festival.

For the first time ESMOD Berlin International University of Art for Fashion participated at the prestigious Graduate Fashion Week (GFW) held in Earls Court 2, London. The event that takes place every year celebrates the work of more than 1,000 of the finest BA degree Fashion students from 40 Universities across the UK and overseas in a catwalk show and an exhibition. ESMOD Berlin graduates Karen Jessen, Alexandra Kohlmeier, Sonja Dissberger, Louise Friedlaender, Eun-Jung Lee presented their collections during the international catwalk show, together with the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and Institute Marangoni Milan and Paris. Karen Jessen was selected to show her collection BENU BERLIN at the Gala Show and achieved the highest prize, the esteemed “International Award”.

The order of events of a young woman’s stay at the historic Waldorf Astoria are dismantled and re-assembled; transforming what was a fashion shoot into a haunting psychological thriller. Russian beauty, Irina Vodolazova, stars in the conceptual short film, 14R, the first collaboration between fashion photographer, Danilo Hess, director, Yara Travieso and composer, Jerome Begin.
